Andrea spent most of her club gymnastics career competing for WOGA (World Olympic Gymnastics Academy) located in Plano, Tx. She was a WOGA team member from 1999 until she graduated high school in 2006. While at WOGA she was coached by former U.S. National Team Coordinator Valeri Liukin and Natalya Marakova. She competed at the Elite level for 1 year before going back to level 10 where she was a multiple-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier. Following her time at WOGA, she earned a Division 1 Full Ride Scholarship to compete for Illinois State University. During her time at ISU, she earned 1st Team All-Conference honors, as well as being named the 2010 Midwest Independent Conference Senior Athlete of the Year. She was also a 1st Team All-Academic selection and the recipient of the university's State Farm Phoenix award. This award goes to one student-athlete from all sports who had to overcome a major obstacle but still make Honor Roll and compete athletically.
Upon graduating from ISU in 2011, Andrea began coaching level's 3-10 at Rising Stars Academy in Bloomington, Il. While working for RSA, she continued to volunteer and choreograph for ISU. In 2014, she was offered an official position as Assistant Coach and Choreographer at ISU. She continued to work at RSA, where she coached multiple State Champions, Regional Champions, and a National Qualifier. She also had her first athlete achieve her ultimate goal of earning a Full Ride Gymnastics Scholarship to a D1 University. In 2017, she chose to continue her club gymnastics coaching career at JAG, with a mission of helping young gymnasts to fall in love with the sport of gymnastics, and to help them achieve their goals as gymnasts, but more importantly guide them into being a good person.
