Summer Camp 2008

Spring Break Camp is also available.  Check here for more information.

June 9    "X" Games : Fun Factor

We start off summer camp right—with lots of fun and games!  Fasten your seat belts; it's time to kick into full gear with our X games! American Gladiator, Xtreme Sports and All-Gym scavenger hunts are some of the surprises we have in store.

June 16    Magical Mystery Week

This week is classified as "top secret," so only some of what we have in store can be revealed!  Suffice it to say, spies, secret agents, detectives, wizards and magicians are in store—if we told you more, we’d lose our security clearance!

June 23 Baby, You're a Star

Wanna be a rock star?  Make a music video?  Learn some hip hop?  Be a Broadway star?  Take a stunting clinic from a real hollywood stunt man? You'll be ready for your own star on the walk of fame after this week of camp!

June 30 All American Adventures

Put on your helmet and fasten your seat belts, because we are going to go on an adventure American style.  Boot Camp, X games, a visit from the fire truck and a good old American carnival are just part of the fun.

July 7 Once Upon a Time

This is a week of favorite stories and all sorts of adventures will occur before we live happily ever after on Friday! Princesses, pirates, fairies and wizards are all part of the fun!

July 14 Arts Explosion

Art projects abound as well as opportunities for drama, dance, cooking, photography and video-making.  Creative kids—this week is your week!

July 21 Carnival Capers

A wacky and magical week for sure!  We will play games, make pinatas and win plenty of prizes.

July 28 Welcome to the Jungle

We’re going ape this week!  We’ll swing from the ropes and climb like monkeys, but a visit from some special critters is sure to be the highlight!

August 4 It's a Party in Here

At JAG, we like to party!  This week each day is a party as we “celebrate” Mardi Gras, an Un-Birthday Party, a Noon Years Eve Party, a Block Party and our very own Hollywood Premier Party.

August 11 Beijing Bound!

We are going for the gold this week in our own version of the Olympics!

August 18 Cirque de JAG

Acrobatics, juggling, clowning and silks are some of the cirque skills that we will develop this week culminating in our very own Cirque de JAG show.!

August 25 These Were the Days

Let’s take a trip through time!  We’ll relive some of the best of best about several eras and redo some of the best days of JAG Camp 2007.  So bring your poodle skirt, tie dye shirt, pet rocks and neon and come hang with us during our last week of summer camp!

JAG Summer Camp

It's Just That Fun!TM

Jym-TasticsTM  Camp

Preschoolers thrive on consistency and activity—and that is how we model our preschool aged camp.  Children begin camp in a class room setting for a brief period of open play.  This allows the children to transition in a small environment and to interact with teachers and other children in an informal setting.  Then it’s off to the gym, for a circle time warm up which prepares their bodies for the activity ahead.  The remainder of the morning is spent in rotations which always include gymnastics, snack, story and art.  An additional rotation with our specialists or a special activity based on the theme of the week is also part of each morning.  The morning program ends with an all camp circle.

 TeRRiFiCCTM  Camp

Campers will be on-the-go from the moment they set foot in JAG GYM. The morning is devoted to gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling with our USA Gymnastics safety certified instructors.

Gymnasts are grouped by gender, age and level.   Over half of the students are beginners with little to no gymnastics experience, and there are also groups for advanced students, both pre-competitive and compulsory level competitors who are looking for that extra training to give them a boost for the fall competitive season.

Themes add to the fun of each week as we build creative and innovative experiences for our campers.  Weekly, in house field trips allow our campers to have fun (and, shh, don’t tell the kids—educational) experiences all within the confines of JAG.

Flexible scheduling, including daily sign ups and extended day programs, give JAG families the kind of support and flexibility on which they have come to rely.
