ANNE JOSEPHSON. The Josephson Academy of Gymnastics is the culmination of a career dream of its president, Anne Josephson. A former gymnast, coach and judge with a B.A. from Columbia University and a Masters in educational psychology,
Anne’s most important credential is that she is the mother of four active young girls (ages
8-12). The children-centered philosophy and family-friendly policies of JAG are the direct result of Anne’s hands-on experience and her passion for children.
MICHAEL JOSEPHSON. Anne’s ideas of making JAG a premier children’s activity center are interwoven with those of her husband Michael Josephson, probably the nation’s best known character development expert and the founder of the nonprofit Joseph & Edna Josephson Institute of Ethics, its CHARACTER COUNTS! youth-ethics initiative and Pursuing Victory With Honor a nationwide sportsmanship campaign. Michael is known locally for his long-running radio commentaries on KNX (1070 AM).
