Rob is a recent transfer to L.A., he was raised in a small beach front town in Connecticut, and was a 3 sport athlete (football, basketball, & baseball) up until his senior year of high school at which point he also coached youth basketball and football for his town. He continued his athletic career in college, playing Division II football at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. While at Assumption, Rob volunteered to mentor inner city youths through the school's "Kids on Campus" days that took place throughout the school year. Before moving to LA, Rob volunteered with the Special Olympics where he was blessed to work with some of the most gifted athletes/people he has ever met.
Rob has always been around children, not only is he the 2nd of 5, but he now has 10 nieces and nephews to add to the incredible number of cousins with whom he grew up. Being around and coaching children for the majority of his life, Rob knows that patience is key when dealing with children in such an exciting environment. Just as important is to show the child that you are listening to and understanding them, which in turn will open the child up to listening to and respecting you as a coach and mentor. He is very excited to join the JAG family and looks forward to helping students maintain an active lifestyle through gymnastics.
