Valerie came to JAG in February of 2010 as an instructor and quickly stepped into her current positions of Team Coordinator and Office Manager.  Originally from San Rafael, California, Valerie’s background comes from the cheerleading world.  She took part in cheer from the Pop Warner level through college, where she cheered at San Francisco State University.  She also attended the Cheerleading Worlds in 2009, and has competed on various dance teams.  Valerie holds her professional certifications in safety from USAG and First Aid and CPR from the American Red Cross.  When not in the gym, Valerie enjoys painting, photography, and playing with her two cats (even though she is allergic to them).
