Ninja Curricululm

Ninja Gym is a fusion of obstacle training, gymnastics, martial arts, and freestyle movement. In this program, these are combined to create ninja-style moves that are used to conquer challenges and elude (imaginary) opponents, the result is a skill-based, fast-paced, fun program geared just for boys and girls who have enormous energy and are looking for a great program to boost their athleticism.

Ninja (Ages 5-11)

SAFETY BAND: Safety vault, Safe Landing Position, Safety Roll

VAULTING:
White:            

  • Safety Vault both left and right side
  • Speed Vault both left and right side
  • Reverse Safety Vault both left and right side
  • SLP (Safe Landing Position)
  • Straight jump to 8" mat

ROLLING:
White:

  • Forward Ninja Roll both left and right side (*also called safety roll)
  • Side roll both left and right side
  • Forward Roll

FLIPPING:
White:

  • 3/4 handstand
  • Cartwheel/ Side Cartwheel
  • Vertical wall run 
  • Horizontal wall run

SWINGING:
White:

  • Support ( P-bar and Single Rail)
  • Cast away to mat
  • Gargoyle Hang
  • Window Escape
  • Chin Holds ( P-bar tuck shape and high bar chin hold)

Advanced Ninja (Ages 5-11)

SAFETY BAND: Safety vault, Safe Landing Position, Safety Roll

VAULTING:
- Yellow:

  • Straight Jump to Resi (board)
  • Squat-on
  • Scissor Vault both left and right side
  • Thief Vault both left and right side


- Green:

  • Kong Vault
  • Dash Vault
  • Handstand Flatback

- Blue:

  • Mega Honk both left and right side
  • Ricochet Vault both left and right side
  • Punch Front to 8" mat

ROLLING:
- Yellow:

  • Backward Ninja Roll both left and right side
  • Backward roll

- Green:

  • Flying Ninja Roll both left and right side
  • Roll off elevated surface
  • Handstand forward roll

- Blue:

  • Webster Roll

FLIPPING:
- Yellow:

  • Round-off
  • Back handspring with a boulder
  • Vertical wall run 180,
  • Horizontal wall run with ninja roll both left and right side
  • Vertical handstand
  • Head Stand 

- Green:

  • Back handspring with spot
  • Handstand walk
  • Front handspring with a boulder 

- Blue:

  • Front Handspring
  • Back Handspring 
  • Punch front into pit

SWINGING:
- Yellow:

  • Re-grip Swings
  • Forward on bars 
  • Gargoyle hang and return
  • Ring Swing
  • Pullover with spot
  • Funky Monkey on high bar

- Green:
